Direct Support Professional (Full-Time and Part-Time)

HBD is looking for qualified Direct Support Professionals to work with adults and children with developmental disabilities and intensive behavior challenges in many of our residential sites located in Broward County, Florida. Openings are available on days, evenings, overnights and weekends.

Responsibilities:
• Supervision and support to ensure health and safety
• Skill training, development, and support in daily living activities
• Community integration
• Behavioral interventions
• Medication dispensing

Requirements:
• One year experience in the field of developmental disabilities, or social/human services
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual (Spanish, Creole) is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and push, pull, reach, bend, and squat
• Must have reliable transportation
